In case you haven’t noticed, I would like to point out that I finally got off my *you-know-what* and upgraded all “LVR” series of blogs to the latest wordpress version 2.5+ series, and gave each a new look - well, actually the same familiar and similar template as PetLvr.com/blog/ !

Further to my earlier post called “The Upgrade Is Complete - Sort Of” … I believe I fixed that error message we were all having when posting comments in [The Blog].

I have identified the culprit - I had a favorite wordpress plugin that is NOT on either the approved compatibility list of plugins for wordpress version 2.5 (or on the known ‘broken’ plugins list). It’s a shame too, as I have been upgrading it periodically, and have had to adjust my template to remove the associated code … (can you guess what that was?)

I have completed the upgrade to the latest wordpress version 2.5 .. although, there still remains some possible peculiarities and error messages when you post a comment. Currently, it might seem that these are possibly related to my spam control and / or translation plugins - both, which I need and want. So, in the meantime - if you are experiencing these error messages .. please just reload the main blog page once again. I will try to sort this out before too long! Grrr.

PS: And, what do I think of Wordpress Version 2.5?

Please bear with me .. as I upgrade this blog from wordpress version 2.3.3 to the latest wordpress version 2.5.

This is a major update, and will affect the functionality of a few plugins which I will have to either replace, or eliminate and modify my template. Although, there has been the occasional error messages on comments received. Although I suspect a few (or one) plugin might be the root cause, there should be no doubt after the upgrade in identifying the culprit responsible and for me to take action!

I will post another message once the update is complete. Backups are currently in progress, and upgrade will commence immediately following these backups
