LONDON, Dec. 12 (UPI) — Paul McCartney says Walt Disney’s “Bambi” and “Dumbo” inspired him to become an animal rights activist.
“If you think of Bambi, its mum gets killed by a hunter, and I think that made me grow up thinking hunting isn’t cool,” McCartney, 63, is quoted as saying in Monday’s Daily Mail. “It always gave me that idea. You look through a lot of these great stories, Dumbo, his mum is quite badly treated.
