Je suis en cours de mettre à jour ce blog de la version 2.2.2 de wordpress à la dernière version 2.3.1 de wordpress

Bien que, il puisse ne pas sembler comme un grand changement… il est. J'espère montrer certains des dispositifs de étiquetage disponibles à la nouvelle version et montrer finalement un « Étiquette-Nuage » dans ma barre latérale. Cependant, d'une manière plus importante j'essayerai à la réduction d'environ 58 connexions activées vers le bas à 23 connexions…

Ainsi - soutenez svp avec moi si là semble à un écran blanc ou aux erreurs. Je ferai un autre poteau une fois que ma mise à jour est complète.

Bonjour.

Une notification juste courte et rapide… que je n'avais pas signalée depuis mardi et ne signalerai pas n'importe où autour du réseau de Cerf-Empire. jusqu'au lundi 12 novembre 2007. Il y avait un accident dans la famille immédiate cette semaine. et un groupe entier de dates-limites soudainement a été poussé en avant. En conséquence. il a été difficile que je trouve l'heure pour n'importe quel entretien de blog. Si tout va bien, ce poteau sera assez d'une notification.

En attendant. sensation librement pour vérifier le notre Archives ou notre Poteaux supérieurs pages.

MISE À JOUR

Au CST le 28 octobre 2007 de 11:31 P.M. le serveur de Cerf-Empire-Réseau brisé. Pendant ce moment même, certaines demandes étaient faites à partir de ce blog et créées une situation qui a corrompu le blog. J'ai maintenant réparé les erreurs - espoir d'I - et nous sommes de retour en ligne chez 7:00 AM le 29 octobre 2007.

I have installed a multi-user wordpress version at the following location, and invite anybody who wishes to create a FREE pet related blog. I have replaced one of the old links on the top button menu and added a new [MyPet] button to access. There is also a link below the heading as well. Feel free to create your own blog!

At this point in time, I have limited disk space to 20MB per account, which should be enough to load as many smaller net-sized photos of your pet. If you really need more space, I have a dedicated server and tons of domains and should be able to accomodate you somehow, if you need it - just ask.

The dedicated server will be offline in a few moments, as we add some memory chips to the physical dedicated server.

We shouldn’t be long - but, for those of you reading this in your RSS feed reader - at least you will know why we are offline again .. it’s planned!

Short and Sweet Version:

I was supposed to be upgraded to a Dedicated Server August 1st. The migration team never got around to it until August 7th. They inadvertently omitted this site and domain in their migration. The nameservers and DNS kicked in. There was no site for this domain to “kick in” to. I was at the mercy of tech support’s migration department. The site was down for the past couple of days. My apologies.

BUT - Now the Good News.

I’m mentioned before that I was upgrading to a dedicated server from my last upgrade to a Virtual Private Server (VPS) on August 1, 2007 … well ,,

* That hasn’t happened yet.

I feel like an idiot. But .. when my provider tells me that they will be migrating my sites “shortly” .. or “tonight” .. or “it’s in progress” … I assume the next day, when I notice that my sites are down, that the reason was because the migration took longer than they planned, or - are still in progress. As such, I have been just shutting off my computer in the morning and enjoying my summer vacation.

But - the reason my sites were down (like, last night for the past 9 hours or so) .. was because of the reason that I am forced to upgrade to a dedicated server in the first place! The VPS cannot handly all the CPU and system resources that all of my blogs in the HART-Empire Network is using. That’s the reason why my sites were down. The VPS killed certain resources and that stops the internet from recognizing my sites.

On June 8th, I upgraded and combined two separate hosting packages into one larger Virtual Private Server (VPS) account. Apparently, because of all my blogs and what-have-me .. some CPU resources and other system resources are periodically reaching black levels for a micro-second. And, when that micro-second happens, the VPS system kills some resources to compensate.

Occassionally, if you come by and notice that the “Default Kubrick” template is appearing on the blog - that is a side effect of this winking out problem of certain resources, and the system reboots the blog and MySQL database and options at the default template theme for some reason.

The good news .. is that I will be upgrading AGAIN - on August 1, 2007 - to a full dedicated server and this shouldn’t happen again. Firstly, because the resources should be adequately available to cover the needs of my network on a dedicated server .. and Secondly .. because when I get around to it - I’m going to put the main template versions into the DEFAULT folder on my system .. just incase it ever needs to default to the default ever again - it will default to the latest template!

I kind of documented it over on HART-Empire Blog if curious .. and although I won’t exactly call this a slowdown period until the upgrade .. I will not actively be trying to generate a whole bunch of new traffic and excessive postings which might halt the system resources to go from green to black and kill certain activities on this network.

PS… the move will mostly occur behind the scenes, and there should be no downtime on August 1. *knock on wood*
