Il proprietario della Caroline & della marmellata d'arance passato via e là era nessuno in grado di prenderli sopra, in modo da sono venuto al WHS il 9 marzo. Questi gatti bei di ~6 anni contano a vicenda per companionship e sull'azienda che saremmo molto tristi rompere questa famiglia del `' in su e che siamo molto ottimisti qualcuno apriremo il loro cuore & sede ad entrambi i gatti. Una tassa molto speciale di approvazione applica $80.00 per entrambi i gatti ed include il loro exam del controllare, vaccino, assicurazione dell'animale domestico e più!

Ombreggiato, 133369

Ombreggiato può essere descritto prima ma come nostro soltanto cane di lunga durata, dobbiamo entrare questa miscela norvegese bella di Elkhound in una sede permanente dei suoi propri! Ombreggiato è un doggy realmente dolce ed affectionate chi pesa dentro circa a ~45lbs e si leva in piedi l'ginocchio-altezza eccessiva giusta alla sua spalla. I simili ombreggiati da andare per le camminate ed è realmente grandi sul suo collare capo. Ombreggiato è un cane astuto, energico e playful che trarrà beneficio da una sede attiva per considerare il suoi occupato & felice. Ombreggiati è gli anni e gli amori del 1 ½ da giocare con altri cani se possono continuare con lei! Ombreggiato è stato adottato in primo luogo come puppy verso la fine del 2006, ma basicamente è stato nella nostra cura attraverso assolutamente nessun difetto dei suoi propri dal novembre 2007. Ombreggiato è un personale & il favorito e noi del volontario sono imbarazzati quanto a perchè è stata passata sopra! Ombreggiato è stato con noi per troppo lungo ed ameremmo vedere che lei ha adottato ad un proprietario/famiglia loving un giorno molto presto sarà troppo meravigliosa non essere goduta! La tassa di approvazione include il exam del controllare, il vaccino, la rabbia, la prova del heartworm, l'assicurazione dell'animale domestico e più!

Anne is a ~6 year old female Domestic Short Hair ‘champagne tortoisehell’. This poor kitty has been with us and awaiting a home since early December, when someone brought her in stray after finding her on Morrow Avenue. Anne is a friendly and sociable cat who is an ambassador as one of our pet visit cats to hospitals & personal care homes! Anne’s adoption fee is only $40.00- this sweet girl deserves a good home of her own! Adoption fee includes spay, vet exam, vaccine, pet insurance, owner handbook & more!

TJ, 155661

TJ and his sister Kittlin were surrendered in March by their owner who was experiencing some health problems. They were brought in with a dog and another cat, both of whom have been adopted. We’d love to be able to keep these two handsome lads together and are offering a reduced adoption fee as an incentive. Phoenix, 117508

Phoenix is a really neat cat whose owner wasn’t able to keep him any longer. Phoenix is quite a tall and dignified cat who seems OK with other cats, although he’d probably enjoy being King of his Castle, too! Phoenix likes to cuddle and is quite friendly once he becomes acquainted with you. This handsome ~3 year old would love to steal a spot in your heart! Mountie, 155948

Mountie is a shy 2 year-old kitty found in the Fort Garry area- he was so afraid he had to be livetrapped but it was obvious to us this was a domesticated cat in need of a home. Mountie was scared and dirty from living outdoors; he was amazingly well behaved and calm for his bath. This big handsome boy would do well in a quieter home with not a lot of activity, where he can adjust at his own pace to his new surroundings. He may do well with another friendly cat for company & socialization. Mountie is a cuddler. Mountie’s adoption fee includes his neuter, vet exam, Rabies vaccine, FeLV & FIV test, pet insurance & more!

Homer, 155045

Homer is a very lucky dog after being found with a badly injured front leg in the north end of the city in February. Homer needed a lot of care and work by our veterinary team- for almost a month they worked on him in order to prepare him for adoption- he is now doing fantastic. Homer likes other dogs (provided they are respectful of him); he handles easily and LOVES to play ball! Homer would do best in a home with kids 12 years+ as he has a tendency to by shy in new situations. Homer bonds quickly and will be a terrific dog! Adoption fee includes vet exam, vaccine, Rabies vaccine, pet insurance, 14-day health period with WHS clinic & more!

Shady, 133369

Shady is a very smart and eager dog who was adopted as a puppy; however, her adopter did not realize the time a young puppy needs in order to become a trained, well-adjusted member of the family, and returned her. Shady likes to play with stuffed toys and loves to play with other happy and silly dogs! This spayed female Norwegian Elkhound mix is about 1.5 years old and will do well in an active home. She’s best suited to kids 12 years+ as she is still learning. Adoption fee includes her spay, vaccine, Rabies, pet insurance and more!

Sweetie is a shy and quiet cat who needs a quiet and stable home. She did well in her foster home; she is likely best suited as the only pet in her home and is best suited to teens/adults who understand her quiet ways. At just over 5 years old, Sweetie would love to go ‘home again’ really soon! Sweetie was surrendered when she was found stray in St.Vital on February 22. Adoption fee includes her spay, vaccine, Rabies, FIV/FeLV test, 14-day health period & more!

Louis, 104386

Louis is a frisky 3.5 year old Domestic Short Hair (with a cute bobbed tail!) whose owner surrendered him in early March as he was too rough for the kids. Louis is a feisty fella who would do best in a home with adults only- someone out there must be looking for a cat with lots of spunk & purrsonality! Hunter is a big fella used to living with other cats and kids. Hunter is a very nice and friendly kitty who has tested negative for feline AIDS and feline leukemia- he’s also been vaccinated against Rabies since being surrendered to us in early March. Wanda is hoping she has better luck next time…. She was adopted as a kitten in 2004 and found as a stray in the Elmwood area in January. Wanda’s registered owner had given her away a couple of years ago, but didn’t know to whom. Wanda is a friendly, outgoing and happy ~4.5 year old cat who has been patiently waiting for a home for over 2 months- she needs an address of her own! As a longterm cat, her adoption fee has been reduced to $39.50 and includes her vet exam, spay, vaccine, Rabies, pet insurance & more!

Fella Roo, 121887

Fella is a sweet and cuddly Border Collie mix who loves to go for car rides! This busy and active ~2 year old dog was brought to us when his owner found him to be too much work. Fella Roo is a great walker on leash, likes to play with other dogs and is very cuddly and affectionate. He seems good with cats! Fella is a busy dog and can be pushy sometimes, so he’s best for older kids. At ~50lbs he is full grown and requires an active owner to keep him busy & happy. Keith is a really sweet, very affectionate and goofy Lab mix. Keith had been fending for himself in the Ste. Anne, MB area for about four months until someone was able to catch him. Keith is a real charmer and has the lovey-dovey goofy nature many Labs have. He loves belly rubs, cookies and giving kisses. Keith can be a pushy dog and hasn’t been taught how to share his treats so we think he’s best for kids 16 years+ because he requires a confident leader to learn from. Blue & Furless are like Lady & the Tramp- they belong together! Their owner moved into a no-pets facility and was not allowed to being these two kitties. Blue is a 9 year old neutered male Seal Point Siamese and Furless is a 6 year old spayed female Domestic Medium Hair. Furless is kind of shy and reliant upon Blue; both cats have been around other cats & dogs before and are best suited to quieter, gentle children. We would love for this cuddly kitty couple to be adopted soon; they require a home together. Adopt both for $80.00!

Macho 151241

Macho is an incredible cat who was found stray on Church Avenue in November- for some reason, this handsome fellow keeps getting passed over for adoption. Macho is about 3 years old, very friendly and sociable as most Tom cats are and when he purrs has a very loud ‘motor’! This big guy is negative for FIV and FeLV, blood diseases cats can get from going outdoors. Macho is a staff favorite and a hit with the teens at our Roots & Shoots educational program- he will make a great addition to almost any family. Adopt as a longtimer for $39.50!

Bo 152812

Bo is a complete sweetheart who simply doesn’t fare well in the hectic shelter environment- this boy is used to the comforts of home & family! Bo, a Flat Coated Retriever mix, is one of those really smart and sensitive dogs we receive all-too-often who become stressed and anxious here. He needs to be adopted soon for his own mental health. When out of his kennel/room, Bo is a very low-key, laid back and well mannered doggy who has great manners and listens well- does he sound like someone you’re looking for? As he can be a timid boy, we suggest he’s best for kids 12yrs+; we know he’ll make a terrific companion for his new family.

Lexus, 153680

Lexus is a really great ~ 8 month-old dog with good manners and a gentle disposition. Lexus likes other dogs and has lived with 2 cats before. Lexus is a very cuddly and affectionate dog who likes to be hugged & get belly rubs. She’s going to make a great addition to a family- hopefully one day very soon.

Kobi was brought in due to allergies in his family. Kobi likes other cats and likes to play- he can be a very frisky boy so may be best suited to older kids. 1 ½ year-old Kobi would love to go home to start his new life. As a longterm cat his adoption fee has been reduced to $39.50!
