It is a fact that black dogs get adopted last; Leonardo is still waiting for adoption! Leonardo was picked up as a stray puppy when he was only a few months old. The now 8-month-old and has been waiting since September to find his perfect forever home. Along with being full of energy and a really smart boy, this handsome black lab mix loves being around people and is always happy and exited to play. He’s sure to make his future family proud! Leonardo would do great in a home without cats or small animals and with children over the age of 10. Come down to The Winnipeg Humane Society today to meet him and fall in love forever!

Pet Partners (ages 12 – 15) This creative, activity based program focuses on improving the environment that people and animals share. Participants select and complete a group project with the help of staff and volunteers. Pet Partners is offered twice each year and meets for sessions on alternate Sundays from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. The next session dates are January 24, February 7, 21, March 7, and 21. Both pre-registration and a fee of $32 are required. Call 204.982-2046 for details and registration.
