I am pleased to introduce Mia Carter to the PetLvr Blog.
In general terms, Mia will be offering a variety of pet health related information, training and socialization tips and techniques, and other pet related topics. In addition to this PetLvr blog, Mia will also be randomly posting throughout the “LVR” series of blogs, including DogLvr.com, CatLvr.com, BirdLvr.com and the other “LVR” sites you see at the top of every page.
Being an avid “PetLvr” as she is .. I think we are all in for a treat! Here’s a sampling from her author page
* Much of Mia’s writing is guided by her experiences with her more than 20 chronically ill and special needs pets, including six dogs, six cats, two rats, two guinea pigs and eight birds. Mia’s animals suffer from conditions and disabilities such as blindness, deafness, epilepsy, diabetes, amputated limbs, severe spinal defects, Trigeminal Neuritis, Addison’s Disease, Cancer, Protein-Losing Enteropathy and Separation Anxiety, among others. In addition to caring for her more than 20 special needs pets, Mia volunteers her time at several Boston area animal shelters and she serves as a pet foster parent for several New England animal rescue organizations.
