Tika is a bright and energetic young female Labrador Retriever mix. Tika was surrendered due to her owner’s allergies. This 6 month old pup is too smart and active to be kenneled- she needs a home very soon! Tika loves to play tug of war, get belly rubs and is learning how to shake a paw. Tika is expected to do well with other cats & dogs, and because she’s still learning manners is best suited to kids 10 years old+.

Peguis, 152204

Peguis was rescued from his ‘home’ underneath the Chief Peguis Trail in the North Kildonan area. This poor kitty was quite frostbitten and required some TLC upon arrival- we expect him to lose the tips of his ears and needed the tip of his tail amputated due to the damage. Despite his injuries, he handled very well for our veterinarian. Peguis is good with other cats and deserves a terrific home. This poor kitty has been through a lot in his two short years of life.
