The Manitoba Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA) hosted the 12th annual Great Manitoba Dog Party today at Assiniboine Park, between Noon and 5pm .. here in Winnipeg. Last years party hosted over 20,000 people, the largest single day event turnout at The Forks. We were there last year, and I think it was a better turn out this year! This was a free event to the public and offers a breed display, dog contests & prizes, dog sports, photo contest, tradeshow, and blah blah blah - but, most importantly .. it allows us to bring our dogs into one great park and be able to mingle with many other dog owners.

I tried to take a lot of pictures, but it’s hard just to keep the dogs in check, yet alone trying to get a great picture! However, one thing we noticed .. as Papillon dog owners .. people were coming up to us and asking about our Papillons . or “IF” they were Papillons .. opposed to even last year, and the years before .. when other dog owners didn’t even know what a Papillon dog was!

So .. I guess without edit or choice or selection - I thought I would just post all the pictures I took today in here, and then toss them up into our PetLvr gallery. We had fun!
