Hayfever cabbie in bid to ban guide dogs
A CABBIE who suffers from hayfever has asked councillors to exempt him from a licensing condition that obliges taxi drivers to carry guide or hearing dogs.
In a submission to the city council, Keith Bell said certain animals can exacerbate his condition.
He asked to be exempt for May, June and the first half of each July. The condition requires drivers to carry such animals with disabled passengers.
