Dog Mauled in Navan

A pit-bull type dog was euthanied last night after an attack left a tiny French Papillon dead in Navan.
Bylaw Services says a 15-year-old girl was preparing to take her dog Remy for a walk when two pit-bull type dogs raced into the house and attacked it.
The girl was not injured.
Bylaw Services says the owner of the two dogs will likely face a fine of 610-dollars for a dog bite attack on another domestic animal.
